Purified Water

Purified water is the only type of water we use in our product formulas. Purified water undergoes reverse osmosis, distillation, and filtration to remove pathogens, impurities, contaminants, pesticides, chemicals (including fluoride and chlorine), minerals, and heavy metals (including mercury and lead). It is pH balanced and offers several skin health benefits including:

• Hydration: Maintains optimal skin and body hydration while supporting bodily functions including temperature regulation and nutrient absorption through the skin.
• Reduced Contaminant Exposure: Free from harmful substances like bacteria, heavy metals (e.g., lead, mercury), pesticides, and chemicals, lowering the risk of waterborne illnesses or long-term toxicity.
• Improved Absorption: Aids in absorption through the skin. Free of chlorine and sediments it encourages better skin permeability.
• Kidney Health & Detoxification: Supports kidney function by flushing out toxins and reducing the risk of kidney stones. Assists the liver and kidneys in eliminating waste and toxins, promoting overall metabolic health.
• Supports Physical Performance: Ensures proper hydration during stress, including sickness and exercise, reducing fatigue and maintaining muscle function.
• Skin and Cell Health: Promotes hydrated, clear skin by supporting cell function and reducing exposure to impurities.
• Safe for Sensitive Skin: Ideal for infants, pregnant women, and immunocompromised individuals, as it minimizes risks from pathogens or contaminants.

Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate (Coconut Oil Derived)

Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate is a mild surfactant (to cleanse and decrease surface tension) derived from natural sarcosine (an amino acid) and lauric acid (a saturated fatty acid) from organic coconut oil. It is commonly used personal and home care products for its gentle cleansing properties. Its primary role is a cleansing agent yet it also delivers proven health benefits for the skin and oral health including: Gentle Sensitive-Skin-Friendly Cleansing, Oral Health, Antimicrobial Properties, Biodegradable and Safe.

• Gentle Sensitive-Skin-Friendly Cleansing: Effectively removes dirt, oil, and impurities from skin, scalp, nails, and teeth without stripping the skin’s natural oils. It differs from harsh surfactants, like sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), because SLS is proven to cause mild to severe skin irritation and redness where Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate does not. Its mild, non-irritating nature makes it perfect for sensitive skin, minimizing redness, dryness, or discomfort during cleansing.
• Supports Skin Barrier: Preserves the skin’s natural moisture barrier while promoting hydrated and healthy skin.
• Oral Health (in toothpaste): In dental products, including Sparkle Toothpaste, it helps remove plaque and debris while being gentle on gums, reducing irritation and supporting oral hygiene without disrupting the oral microbiome. You may spray one or two pumps of Sanitizer on cold sores, gum infections, Strep Throat, etc. but do not use more than one or two pumps at a time (swallowing overmuch is not recommended by the FDA). 
  • Antimicrobial Properties: Exhibits mild antimicrobial activity, potentially reducing harmful bacteria on skin or in the mouth, aiding in acne prevention or oral health.
• Biodegradable and Safe: Derived from natural sources (the amino and fatty acids from our organic coconut oil), it’s safe for regular use and environmentally friendly.
• Improves Product Function: Enhances the foam and/or spreadability of our cleansing products, including Sanitizer and Sparkle Toothpaste, ensuring even application of active ingredients, which indirectly supports product efficacy; aids in delivering other hydrating, soothing, and/or active ingredients in our products).

Sodium Chlorite (EPA & FDA Approved Safe Stabilized Active Oxygen)

Sodium chlorite is used at 200ppm (200 Parts Per Million) for Sanitizer 1oz, Sanitizer 8oz, and Sparkle Toothpaste. Sodium Chlorite is used in many ways; as a supplement for digestion and immune support, as a detoxification and water purification agent, as a wound and rash antiseptic, as a sterilizing and deodorizing agent (extensively used on hospital surfaces and in sewage and water treatment processes), and as a highly effective EPA and FDA approved disinfectant proven kill COVID-19, Polio, MRSA, Herpes, AIDS, Candida, Salmonella and 99% of all pathogens. It is used in Sanitizer and Sparkle Toothpaste. It is not plant-based, instead it is a certified ToxicFree® ingredient.

• Broad-Spectrum Antimicrobial Action: Activated sodium chlorite effectively kills bacteria (including antibiotic-resistant strains like MRSA), diseases (including COVID-19) viruses (including Flu, Herpes, AIDS, and more), infections (including HIV), fungi (including Candida), and biofilms. It also supports wound healing while mitigating infections.
• Biofilm Disruption: Stabilized solutions, derived from sodium chlorite like Sanitizer and Sparkle Toothpaste, penetrate and disrupt bacterial biofilms, which are often resistant to other antiseptics, aiding in the treatment of chronic or infected wounds.
• Promotes Wound Healing: When used in a controlled buffered form, like Sanitizer and Sparkle Toothpaste,  sodium chlorite products reduce bacterial load and inflammation, creating a cleaner wound environment that supports faster healing without damaging healthy tissue.
• Non-Irritating and Non-Sensitizing: The properly formulated sodium chlorite-based solutions of Sanitizer and Sparkle Toothpaste are pH-balanced, non-toxic, non-irritating, and do not cause allergic or other skin reactions, making them suitable for sensitive skin and gums and chronic wounds on the skin, scalp, lips, or in the mouth.

• It is Not Bleach: Sodium Chlorite, while safely used to whiten sugar, starch, wax, etc. is vastly different from Sodium Chloride NaCI (table salt and saline solution), Sodium Hypochlorite NaOCI (the oxidizing agent in bleach), and Chlorine Dioxide (a disinfecting gas); All four have entirely different chemical compositions, properties, reactivity, and safety levels.
